J. Costello Kitchens Ltd is a family owned business based in Cork. Owner and kitchen designer John Costello has over 40years experience and has been supplying our quality Irish kitchens to nationwide homes for over 30 years.

All J. Costello Kitchens Ltd designs are custom made to suit the needs of the customer, and are completely unique to you. J. Costello Kitchens Ltd will listen to your needs and with your guidance will design a kitchen which will make the best use of your space.

J. Costello Kitchens Ltd not only designs your kitchen, but also provides an entire design and fitting service. Depending on your needs, J. Costello Kitchens Ltd can provide the kitchen pull out service, floor and wall tile removal, plumbing, plastering, electrics, tiling, and the kitchen fitting itself.

Once an agreement has been made and all parties are satisfied our commitment to you is as follows:

❖ Once the deposit is paid the drawings will be given to the client.

❖ A contract of agreement will be signed by the client with details of furniture and costings.

❖ No furniture will be released to client without second deposit paid in full.

❖ It is important to note that all efforts will be made by J. Costello Kitchens Ltd to keep arranged fitting date, but on occasion fitting dates may be moved, should this issue occur we will give you as much notice as possible.

❖ J. Costello Kitchens Ltd do not take responsibility for supplier lead times, or products that are out of stock.

❖ If there is any changes to signed contract regarding furniture, costings, additions, a new contract will need to be signed by the customer- this will void previous versions.

Payments:

Your first Booking deposit is to be paid at least 8 weeks prior to your scheduled fitting date. Once this is paid the manufacturing can begin.

Your Balance is then due 1 week before your fitting date.

We will be in contact with you prior to these payments being due.

5-year guarantee

Your furniture is bespoke. It is made to last the demands of day to day. We offer a five year guarantee with every job. The first two years cover parts and labour and then the following three years cover labour. This guarantee is from the original purchase date. There is a €150 call out charge for non-guarantee related issues.

Please note, for the first two years the product will need to be examined to determine if it is covered under the guarantee.The remaining three years of the guarantee will allow for labour and travel for repair, but items being replaced is at the cost of the clients.

The guarantee does not cover atypical misuse or damage caused by impact or accidents. Additionally, this does not cover products that are used inappropriately, altered, abused, or cleaned with wrong products/methods. Warranty does not cover wear and tear, damage from water, fire, sun, heat from poorly sealed ovens, heat damage for gas hobs, steam damage from kettles or pots, abrasive or corrosive products.

Painted products will naturally chip over time, touch up colour matched paint will be obtained by the clients at fitting.Paint will fade in direct sunlight. This guarantee does not allow for incidental or consequential damage.

Items that are not covered by J. Costello Kitchens Ltd include, handles, sinks, taps, appliances- these items are covered by the guarantee of the manufacturer- this is usually one/two years depending on company.

Revamp of existing Kitchen units.

If J. Costello Kitchens Ltd are enlisted to reface a customersexisting kitchen, we leave the existing kitchen skeleton, and replace the doors, pelmet, cornice, plinth, and worktops if necessary with the new choices the customer has chosen.

J. Costello Kitchens Ltd do not accept any responsibility for the condition and wear and tear of the customers pre-existing cabinetry, appliances etc.

Data Protection

Your data will only be used for the purpose of fulfilling our contractual responsibilities- unless there is a legal requirement for us to do otherwise.

As a client you will need to provide some personal data- name, address, and contact details to third parties for them to carryout work.

We will never provide any of your personal data to a third party for marketing reasons, unless you have explicitly consented for us to do so.
